The latest edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown for December 4, 2020 took place from the WWE ThunderDome at Amway Center in Orlando, Florida.
Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who might have missed it:
— The show opened with a ten bell salute in honor of Pat Patterson who passed away earlier this week.
— Roman Reigns was interviewed by Kayla Braxton. Kevin Owens interrupted the segment and challenged Reigns to a TLC match for the Universal Championship, which was later confirmed.
— Natalya defeated Bayley by submission.
— Big E (who debuted new entrance music), Daniel Bryan and Rey Mysterio defeated Dolph Ziggler, Sami Zayn and Shinsuke Nakamura by pinfall with Bryan pinning Zayn.
— There was a so-called "War of Words" between Sasha Banks and Carmella which was just a split-screen interview promo segment with Michael Cole.
— King Corbin (accompanied by Wesley Blake and Steve Cutler) defeated Murphy by pinfall.
— Kevin Owens and "The Blue Collar Brawler" Otis defeated Jey Uso and Roman Reigns by disqualification as Reigns locked in the guillotine choke while he wasn't the legal man. Reigns then attacked everyone (including Jey Uso) with a steel chair after the match.
