The latest edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown for February 5, 2021 took place from the WWE ThunderDome at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who might have missed it:

— Dominik Mysterio defeated King Corbin by pinfall.

— Cesaro defeated Daniel Bryan by submission.

— Bayley defeated Ruby Riott by pinfall.

— Bianca Belair teased potentially picking her WrestleMania opponent. Reginald and Carmella came out to talk about how she can't beat Carmella or Sasha Banks. The Boss came out to say the same thing about how Belair isn't the best because she is.

— SmackDown Tag Team Champions "The Dirty Dawgs" (Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode) defeated Chad Gable and Otis by pinfall.

— Big E defeated Apollo Crews and Sami Zayn in a triple threat match by pinfall on Crews to retain the Intercontinental Championship.

— Roman Reigns told Edge to acknowledge him as the champion of choice. However, Edge just watched as Kevin Owens jumped Reigns from behind and gave him a stunner to end the show.
