— Kane kicked off the show with a promo about the Royal Rumble. Bray Wyatt appeared on the TitanTron for an impromptu Firefly Fun House and then popped up in the ring as The Fiend, but was ambushed by Daniel Bryan and had to retreat back through the hole in the ring. After the commercial break, Daniel Bryan said in an interview that he challenges Wyatt to a strap match for their Universal Championship match at Royal Rumble.
— John Morrison defeated Big E by pinfall
— The Usos defeated The Revival by pinfall
— Backstage, Lacey Evans fought with Sasha Banks and Bayley. Banks claimed to mess up her ankle and Adam Pearce informed them that Bayley would take Sasha's place.
— Sonya Deville told Mandy Rose that she understood why Mandy's been acting so nice to Otis and wanted him to be ringside for her match later, implying she thinks Mandy is only involved with Otis for his help in matches.
— Lacey Evans defeated Bayley by pinfall
— Shorty G and Sheamus had a fight backstage, with Sheamus coming up short.
— Braun Strowman declared himself an entrant in the Royal Rumble and said he deserves an Intercontinental Championship shot after having beaten Shinsuke Nakamura.
— Elias was about to sing a song until Sami Zayn (with Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro) interrupted to say Strowman doesn't deserve a shot. Elias then was about to sing a song called "Sami Zayn Needs to Shut His Damn Mouth" All three attacked Elias and Strowman came out for the save.
— Alexa Bliss defeated Sonya Deville by pinfall
— Roman Reigns defeated Robert Roode in a tables match. The stipulation for his match against King Corbin at Royal Rumble is a Falls Count Anywhere match.
