The latest edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown for January 24, 2020 took place at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX.

Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who might have missed it:

— Roman Reigns and The Usos defeated King Corbin, Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode by pinfall.

— After an interview where Lacey Evans talked a lot about dealing with depression and being a good role model, Bayley attacked her. This fight spilled into the next two segments of a Dana Brooke and Carmella interview, as well as a match between Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross vs. Fire and Desire (which never started).

— Braun Strowman and Elias defeated Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura by pinfall.

— John Morrison defeated Kofi Kingston by pinfall.


— A contract signing took place for the universal title match at Royal Rumble. The Fiend attacked Daniel Bryan and finished the show by stabbing himself in the hand and smearing his blood on the contract.
