The latest edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown for January 29, 2021 took place from the WWE ThunderDome at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who might have missed it:

— Daniel Bryan started the show with a promo about the Royal Rumble. AJ Styles and Omos came out and this led to a challenge for later.

— Bianca Belair defeated Bayley by pinfall.

— King Corbin defeated Dominik Mysterio by pinfall.

— Daniel Bryan vs AJ Styles was thrown out when Cesaro, Sami Zayn, Big E and Shinsuke Nakamura got involved. This then turned into a six-man tag team match after the commercial break (as WWE has been doing a lot lately, having one match lead to another one). However, the six-man tag team match ended with another disqualification as The Miz and John Morrison attacked the babyfaces. Then, Otis came out to fight them off. This led to a 10-man tag team match, but the babyface team only had four members until Sheamus came out and helped them win the match by pinfall. Then, Braun Strowman came out and cleaned house to end the episode.
