The latest edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown for November 29, 2019 took place at the Legacy Arena in Birmingham, AL.

Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who might have missed it:

— The show started with Roman Reigns cutting a promo on his win at Survivor Series and wishing everyone a happy Thanksgiving. King Corbin came out to run down the crowd and volunteer Robert Roode for a match with Reigns. Roman Reigns defeated Robert Roode by pinfall. Then, after Roode tried to attack him after the match, Reigns took out his frustration and in the process, speared Roode through the barricade, threw some chairs on him and dumped the commentary table on top of the Glorious one.

— Sheamus is coming back and he's going to make SmackDown his.

— Mustafa Ali defeated Drew Gulak by pinfall.

— Bayley and Sasha Banks cut a promo on how the women's division dropped the ball at Survivor Series and let them down. Lacey Evans came out to talk some trash and knock out Banks with a Woman's Right.

— Nikki Cross defeated Mandy Rose by pinfall. Alexa Bliss came out after the match to save Cross from a post-match attack from Fire & Desire.

— Backstage, Elias made fun of Drake Maverick for being creepy and trying to kiss Dana Brooke under the mistletoe.

— The New Day retained the SmackDown Tag Team Championship over Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura by pinfall.

— Throughout the night, there were moments of Bray Wyatt saying he wanted Daniel Bryan to fight him again. The Miz gave Bryan a bit of a pep talk about how important he is to SmackDown. Bryan closed the show with a promo about how at Survivor Series, the fans helped him come to the realization that he needed to go back to the Yes Movement. The Fiend then attacked him, dragged him under the ring and seemingly started ripping out Bryan's hair.
