— Triple H and Stephanie McMahon kicked off the show to hype up the season premiere with the roster on the stage. Eventually, a brawl started with most of the superstars. Lars Sullivan took several people out
— Lars Sullivan defeated Jeff Hardy by pinfall
— After a passionate promo about how much Big E, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods mean to each other and how this is potentially the last time The New Day will be competing all three together, they defeated Cesaro, Shinsuke Nakamura and Sheamus by pinfall
— Daniel Bryan's promo was interrupted by Seth Rollins, who eventually started a fight with him after Bryan called his Monday Night Messiah gimmick dumb. Dominik and Rey Mysterio then came out to fight Rollins. Murphy then did the same and eventually offered his hand for Rey and Dominik to shake, but they refused to.
— SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match: The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) vs Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode was a double disqualification when both teams continued to fight in the ring despite the referee's count.
— Bayley didn't sign her contract for the SmackDown Women's Championship match at Hell in a Cell against Sasha Banks.
— Universal Championship Match: Roman Reigns defeated Braun Strowman by submission to retain the title.
