The latest edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown for October 30, 2020 took place from the WWE ThunderDome at Amway Center in Orlando, Florida.
Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who might have missed it:
— Roman Reigns started the show telling Jey Uso (who said he hates Roman for what he did at Hell in a Cell) that he would need to fall in line by the end of the night.
— Survivor Series Qualifying Match: Kevin Owens defeated Dolph Ziggler by pinfall to earn a spot on Team SmackDown.
— Natalya approached Adam Pearce about how she should be the captain of Team SmackDown and pick the entire women's team. Billie Kay and Bianca Belair wanted in, too. Pearce suggested a triple threat with the winner getting a spot on the team.
— Corey Graves sat down with Lars Sullivan, who said he doesn't like being called The Freak. Graves explained that it's about the freakishly powerful things he does. He said he'll accept that. He can remember the first time he was called a freak when he was a kid. He cried and they laughed at him. Then, the screaming started when he got back at them. He was then banned from school. He's going to make WWE his personal playground/hell.
— Triple Threat Survivor Series Qualifying Match: Bianca Belair defeated Billie Kay and Natalya by pinfall to earn a spot on Team SmackDown.
— Carmella explained she's "that woman" who calls the shots, gives orders and does whatever she needs to win. Next week, the whole world will know why she's untouchable.
— Murphy tried to do a public apology to Rey and Dominik, but Seth Rollins came out. Dominik went to attack Rollins and Murphy got in the way, resulting in Murphy and Dominik fighting each other. Rey joined the fight and Aalyah told them to stop because she loves Murphy, who she then kissed.
— After a promo about Survivor Series, The Street Profits defeated Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura by pinfall
— Sami Zayn talked some trash about how he's going to prove he's a better champion than Bobby Lashley at Survivor Series.
— Sasha Banks cut a promo about beating Bayley at Hell in a Cell and how she'll beat Asuka at Survivor Series. Bayley went to the ring to talk about how Sasha never retains her titles, unlike Bayley. She wants a shot next week at winning the title back.
— Survivor Series Qualifying Match: Jey Uso defeated Daniel Bryan by pinfall to earn a spot on Team SmackDown. Jey then told Roman he's the head of the table and he's with him. To illustrate that, he attacked Daniel Bryan after the match.
