The latest edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown for September 25, 2020 took place at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida.

Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who might have missed it:

— Sami Zayn defeated AJ Styles and Jeff Hardy in a triple threat match by pinfall over Hardy.

— Tucker pointed out that in the lawsuit, only one of The Miz and John Morrison's names is listed.

— Bayley cut a promo about how she'll beat Nikki Cross (again) and retain the SmackDown Women's Championship at Clash of Champions: Gold Rush. Mostly, it was a reminder that she's TRULY feuding with Sasha Banks, rather than about the Cross match.

— Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Gran Metalik by pinfall

— Jey Uso cut a promo about the look Roman Reigns gave him last week, wanting to know what's up with that. Paul Heyman eventually gave him a non-answer on behalf of Roman.

— King Corbin defeated Matt Riddle by pinfall

— Lacey Evans defeated Alexa Bliss by disqualification.

— Roman Reigns told Jey Uso that the family will always be proud of Jey and Jimmy for being such great tag team wrestlers, but Roman will always be the one the family depends on to provide. Jey retorted that people always talk positive about Roman, but to him, people ask "Which one are you?" and after Clash of Champions, people will say he was the one who beat Roman Reigns for the title.
