The latest edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown for September 18, 2020 took place at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida.

Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who might have missed it:

— The show opened with a Dirt Sheet from The Miz and John Morrison, who joked about Mandy Rose being traded to Raw. That prompted Otis and Tucker to come out and attack them.

— Cesaro beat Gran Metalik by pinfall.

— Know Your Bro: Matt Riddle showed how the word "bro" is a universal language that could be used in any situation, including happy, sad, scared, confident and so on.

— Alexa Bliss had Nikki Cross on an edition of A Moment of Bliss, which was interrupted by Lacey Evans, who said Nikki is too nice to have the meanstreak she needs to beat Bayley. This led to a match wherein Nikki Cross beat Lacey Evans by pinfall.

— Sasha Banks responded to Bayley's attack in a sit-down interview. She talked about how they took over the company this summer and now, she knows Bayley's watching this. Bayley's an idiot and naive. She's nothing without Sasha. So since she's useless to Bayley now, she's going to take the SmackDown Women's Championship from her one day. Bayley then attacked her from behind until she was stopped.

— AJ Styles defeated Sami Zayn by pinfall. Jeff Hardy came out after the match to attack Zayn and Styles with a ladder. Hardy then grabbed a mic and said he's tired of this situation and wants to end this with a triple threat ladder match for the Intercontinental Championship at Clash of Champions: Gold Rush.

— The Miz and John Morrison are going to take Otis to court and sue him for his attack from the Dirt Sheet segment unless he forfeits the Money in the Bank contract by next week.

— Backstage, Big E got revenge on the security guard who set him up for the Sheamus ambush the other week by giving him a suplex onto a car windshield.

— Samoan Street Fight: Roman Reigns and Jey Uso defeated Sheamus and King Corbin by pinfall
