Speculation is running wild online that WWE Hall of Famer Sting could be teasing one final dream match in WWE after sharing the Tweet you can see below. There was a lot of excitement surrounding his arrival in WWE, but after a poorly received WrestleMania match against Triple H, his in-ring career seemingly reached its end after suffering a neck injury during a match with Seth Rollins.
He still hasn't been cleared, of course, but has made no secret of the fact he would like to officially retire by squaring off with The Undertaker (who recently announced his own retirement in Undertaker: The Last Ride).
At 61, it seems highly unlikely that WWE would allow Sting to have another match, but it's definitely feasible it could happen, especially if it takes the form of a cinematic match. Plus, we've seen Daniel Bryan and Edge get cleared after their careers appeared to be over after sustaining similarly serious injuries, so anything can happen in the world of wrestling.
Whether The Undertaker would want to face Sting after what went down with Goldberg is another matter, of course, but it is a great shame that Sting was never given the chance to have his final dream match in WWE.
