WWE Hall Of Famer Beth Phoenix Reveals How Long It Took Edge To Drive To Last Night's RAW

Last night's episode of RAW kicked off with an appearance from Edge which saw him challenge Randy Orton to a Last Man Standing match at WrestleMania. Once again taking place in the WWE Performance Center, the show didn't feature a live crowd, and the WWE Hall of Famer decided to play it safe by avoiding travelling by air.

Instead, he decided to drive, and his wife - fellow WWE Hall of Famer and NXT commentator Beth Phoenix - has taken to Twitter to reveal that Edge actually had to make a seventeen hour drive in order to get to RAW

We're not sure why it took so long when Edge's home in Asheville, NC, is around eight and a half hours away from Orlando, but it's possible he came from further afield or ran into traffic. Either way, it's impressive to see how much work he put into making sure he could be there to entertain fans last night.

As of right now, all upcoming episodes of RAW and SmackDown are scheduled to take place in the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, as is WrestleMania
