WWE Hall Of Famer Bill Goldberg Has Some Thoughts On Brock Lesnar's Return To UFC

Much to the delight of many wrestling fans, we've seen the last of Brock Lesnar in a WWE ring for a while but as The Beast prepares to return to UFC, Goldberg has shared his thoughts on his old foe's decision.

One of the best parts of Brock Lesnar's run in WWE over the past few years was his feud with Goldberg and while the two men played enemies in the ring, they're actually pretty good friends in real life. Recently, Goldberg was asked to share his thoughts on Lesnar's plans to return to the UFC (it's thought that he'll fight next year) and he actually had nothing but good things to say about The Beast.

"Show me another guy who can do it, show me another professional wrestler, professional football player or a guy 51 years old that’s not a professional race-car driver that can drive up the hill of Goodwood. Now, I did hit the wall, but it is what it is," the WWE Hall of Famer initially joked, reflecting on a couple of his own extracurricular activities outside of the wrestling ring.

"You got to have cojones, you got to have special ability and that desire to do certain things," he continued. "Brock is a different human being. Brock is a guy who reinvents himself all the time and who capitalizes on opportunities that others don’t have the cojones to capitalize on.” That's a fairly accurate assessment for the most part but there's one thing Brock is even better at!

Making money! During his WWE run, Brock made an awful lot and he knows that returning to UFC - win or lose - will result in a huge payday. While Goldberg is right that it does take guts to step back into the Octagon, it's hard to escape the feeling that the former Universal Champion's main motivation is just how much he can earn from doing so. Then again, if you can do it and get paid, why not?
