WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has been a lot of things throughout his career, but we bet you didn't see this coming.
The former WWE and WCW Champion has often told fans to say their prayers, but the Hulkster has now found religion himself. He turned 70 earlier this year and appears to have decided to make a big change by being baptized.
Hogan's baptism seemingly took place in a hot tub, while a second video shared by the iconic pro wrestler showed him helping an unnamed woman get baptised as well. The video was accompanied by a caption which saw Hogan describe this as "the greatest day of my life."
"Total surrender and dedication to Jesus is the greatest day of my life," he declared. "No worries, no hate, no judgment...only love!"
Earlier this year, Hogan was linked to Scientology after supposedly being spotted with actor Tom Cruise. It's unclear whether he was ever involved with that group but it's clear now he's decided to embrace Christianity.
Hulk Hogan, born Terry Eugene Bollea on August 11, 1953, achieved global fame in the 1980s and 1990s, becoming the face of WWE. Known for his charismatic persona, colourful attire, and signature leg drop finishing move, he became a multiple-time world champion and, for a brief spell, a Hollywood star.
He'd later jump ship to WCW where he became the villainous Hollywood Hulk Hogan. Years later, he even starred in a reality TV series about his now largely estranged family called Hogan Knows Best.
The WWE Hall of Famer has also courted controversy in recent years after a sex tape featuring him surfaced in 2012, leading to a lengthy legal battle. In 2015, racial slurs uttered by Hogan in another tape were revealed, resulting in WWE severing ties with him. Hogan has since apologized and he's appeared sporadically since (typically to mixed reactions from crowds).
