WWE has added yet another big name to its creative team as Jeff Jarrett has been appointed to the group after being hired as a producer just last month. Now, he's got a full-time role with them and this all seems to be part of Vince McMahon's effort to shake things up and help improve ratings.
There's a lot they need to do before the FOX deal kicks in this October and SmackDown Live moves to that network and given the amount of money that's been spent, it would not be good for WWE if fans quickly start tuning out.
It's said that Jarrett was invited to attend production meetings and was at WWE headquarters last week before being given this new role. It's hard to believe that Double J is working alongside Vince after leaving the company to go to WCW in 1999 but it just goes to show how things change in the wrestling business.
Bruce Pritchard, meanwhile, is actually serving as a consultant right now rather than as part of WWE's creative team.
