WWE Hall of Famer Jerry "The King" Lawler recently took part in a Q&A on hid podcast, and among the questions he was asked, was who he would choose to face in WWE today if the opportunity were to present itself. Lawler hasn't been cleared by WWE to wrestle since his heart attack in 2012, but he does regularly compete on the independent circuit.

After mentioning that he would enjoy working with The Miz again, Wyatt noted that Universal Champion Bray Wyatt actually approached him and suggested that they could square off in the ring.

"You know, after we did the little thing a while back on Monday Night Raw (August 2019), before I was back doing commentary. I just came on for a guest appearance," he said referring to the moment The Fiend attacked him. "Bray Wyatt came to me afterwards and he said ‘King I would love to work with you down in Memphis.’"

"That’s the kind of people that I love to work with, and have matches with," he continued, stating that Wyatt would be the perfect fit for his hometown promotion. "I would love to have a match with Bray Wyatt or The Fiend either way."

That would be one hell of a match, but chances are it's not something that will happen in the near future. Still, stranger things have happened in WWE, so we'll be sure to keep you guys updated.
