When Roman Reigns made his return to WWE, he did so with a new, heel persona. Fans have been desperate to see that become a reality for a while now, and The Big Dog's partnership with Paul Heyman is generating a lot of buzz online and even helping turn around SmackDown's ratings if this past Friday's episode was any indication.

During a recent Q&A with fans on social media, WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle was asked to share his thoughts on Reigns' heel turn, and he had nothing but good things to say about the Universal Champion and his newfound persona.

"Roman should have turned heel years ago," he started. "I think he will be a bigger babyface AFTER his heel run. Roman is as solid of a franchise talent as anyone. He’s the man."

It's hard to disagree with Angle's assessment, as fans are loving Reigns as a heel, and his eventual - and inevitable - babyface turn is bound to be a hit providing its handled the right way. That's not something WWE should rush, though, and we're hoping that it lasts for some time (and not until Brock Lesnar makes his eventual return).

What do you guys think about The Big Dog's heel turn?
