Sportskeeda recently caught up wth WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle to discuss a number of topics, including who he believes should main event WrestleMania 36 and WrestleMania 37. Angle had his farewell match during last year's Show of Shows and now works as a producer behind the scenes in WWE.
Asked about this year, he said: "The main event? Two wrestlers? Gosh, there are a lot of guys, a lot of guys. I don’t know. Roman? [Kurt laughs] Like he’s not already main-evented four times – but I’m sure he’ll main event, and I would say...Who’s the guy? I like Andrade! I think Andrade might main event WrestleMania, he’s ready."
Unfortunately, that seems unlikely right now, but with the right push, it's really not hard to imagine Andrade being more than capable of main eventing on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
Asked about next year's WrestleMania, Angle made more bold predictions. "The following year, I’d say Aleister Black. Those two guys are..And Buddy Murphy, don’t count this guy out. He’s going to come on strong this next year. Those three guys are changing the game. There’s a new style and if you watch them, you’ll see what I’m talking about."
These are all Superstars with an immense amount of talent, and definitely the future of WWE (something Paul Heyman appears to be pushing on RAW each week similar to the "Ruthless Aggression" era).
