It appears that Kurt Angle’s days in professional wrestling are numbered.
The former WWE champion posted on Instagram strongly hinting that he could retire from in-ring action very soon.
The Olympic Gold medalist started his career in the company back in 1998 and won numerous titles in addition to being a multiple time WWE champion, such as the World Heavyweight and Intercontinental championship. Angle’s first tenure with WWE ended back in 2006 due to some controversy.
Angle would then spend the next ten years in TNA/Impact Wrestling before returning to the company in 2017. Angle hasn’t done much since his return back to WWE, but with the Olympic Gold medalist being 50-years-old, it’s understandable that Angle is looking to retire from in-ring competition.
Should Angle retire soon, he’ll go down as one of the best professional wrestlers to ever grace the squared circle.
