On Friday night's episode of SmackDown, John Cena made his WWE return and received an overwhelmingly positive response from the WWE Universe. Needless to say, it was strange to see the 16-time WWE Champion receive so much love from fans, and even WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry was taken aback.

During a recent edition of Busted Open Radio, Henry shared his thoughts on Cena's return ahead of his WrestleMania match against The Fiend, and the response he received on Friday night.

"Man, I’m so used to hearing 'Cena Sucks,'" Henry joked before adding that the positive response "was like unfathomable for me. I could not believe the reaction from the crowd last night. I just, like, I guess absence does make the heart grow fonder. Because he got more love that first minute and a half…he couldn’t even talk."

"The crowd was like constant. It was a constant roar,"
he continued. "And every time he got ready to say something, they amped up."

It's definitely good to see Cena receive so much love from fans as, honestly, he deserves it! How things will change as he feuds with The Fiend remains to be seen, because Bray Wyatt has definitely been a firm fan-favourite during recent rivalries.

What do you guys think?
