The new WWE Championship that was teased earlier on tonight is the 24/7 title.
Hardcore Legend Mick Foley introduced the title on Raw tonight, and explained that the belt can be defended/won at any time, in any place, by anyone on the Raw, SmackDown, 205 Live or NXT rosters as long as a WWE official is present.
It's basically the same as the now retired Hardcore Championship, which many fans in attendance seemed to hope this new title was going to be a version off based on the boos that erupted when it was unveiled.
At any rate, things kicked-off straight away with a scramble to the ring, and Titus O'Neill emerged as the first champion. However, he was then attacked and pinned by Robert Roode at the top of the ramp.
What do you guys think of this new championship? Is it just the "jobber title" that many are claiming, or will this 24/7 rule lead to some entertaining segments?
