Mick Foley hasn't been a permanent fixture in WWE for years, but he has always maintained a good relationship with the company, and has made a few guest appearances from time to time. Most recently, the Hall of Famer was taken out by "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt, who then began to utilize Mankind's Mandible Claw finisher.
Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT sent out the following Tweet earlier today, leading to speculation that the Hardcore Legend may be set for another return.
This might not have anything to do with an appearance on WWE TV, of course, but with Hell in a Cell coming up, one has to wonder if Foley is being brought in for a guest spot to hype one of the matches on the pre-show or something. Another possibility is the upcoming Survivor Series PPV, which is expected to celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Undertaker.
Foley and The Deadman have a lot of history, so it wouldn't be at all surprising if he was on hand to pay tribute to the legendary Phenom.
More details are expected soon, so keep an eye on TRR for updates.
