WWE Hall Of Famer Sting Rumoured To Return During Next Month's WWE Show In Saudi Arabia

We're officially on the Road to WrestleMania and a big rumour is doing the rounds today which claims that WWE Hall of Famer Sting is set to make his in-ring return in Saudi Arabia next month. Check it out!

According to PW Insider, there's been talk of having Sting appear during next month's untitled WWE PPV in Saudi Arabia. He hasn't wrestled since that disastrous match with Seth Rollins which saw him get badly injured and concussed, something that led to WWE deciding he could no longer continue wrestling moving forward.

However, if Edge's return proves anything, it's that WWE Superstars are made of tough stuff and can often overcome seemingly career-ending injuries!

"Over the last 24 hours, several sources within WWE have told PWInsider.com that there’s been a lot of talk that WWE Hall of Famer Sting will be a major part of the 2/27 Saudi Arabia event next month, possibly even returning to the ring for one more match," the site says. However, they note that the "current creative that was pitched did not involve The Undertaker."

There was no sign of Sting during the Royal Rumble so a surprise appearance in that match to set the stage for the Saudi event clearly isn't something the company considered. With that in mind, if this return is going to happen, it will likely be teased on RAW or SmackDown over the coming weeks.
