WWE Hall Of Famer Torrie Wilson Reveals Whether She's Seriously Considering Making An In-Ring Return

Torrie Wilson is a WWE Hall of Famer, but with fellow veteran Trish Stratus successfully returning to in-ring action earlier this year, is the former Playboy model interested in doing the same thing?

Torrie Wilson was a staple of the Attitude Era in WWE (the latter half, anyway), and last stepped back into the ring during 2021's Women's Royal Rumble match. Shayna Baszler eliminated her during that bout, but Torrie has actually been making sporadic appearances for WWE since 2018.

Of course, it was back in 2019 when Torrie was finally inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, with her returning for this year's event to welcome Stacy Kiebler into that same prestigious group.

It was well-deserved, and these days, Torrie can often be found spreading positive messages on social media. However, with Trish Stratus returning to in-ring action this year - a run which saw her compete in the women's Money in the Bank ladder match and feud with Becky Lynch - the hope among many fans has been that Wilson might be open to following in her footsteps.

Unfortunately, 16 years after her last singles match - a bout with Victoria in 2007 - Wilson is adamant that she has "zero desire" to step back into the squared circle.

"When Trish came back, I watched a lot of that, and I remember texting her a few times. I was like, 'I don't know how you're doing this. Good for you.' But I have zero desire to go back to that," Wilson confirmed. "And I can almost feel the angst..it wouldn't be as simple because I wouldn't want to go back unless I was going to prove that I'm an athlete, which would include [taking] a lot more bumps and practising and 'NXT.' I don't know if I'm gonna do that to my body."

Prior to her Royal Rumble appearance two years ago, Wilson made a surprise return as part of the 20-woman Battle Royal at the all-female Evolution PLE in 2018. There, she was eliminated by Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville, and it seems cameos like those are as much as we can hope for.

Still, it's clear Wilson has stayed in fighting shape and it's a real shame to think we won't see her wrestle in one final match (especially now that WWE treats its women as being on an equal footing with the men).

This is pro wrestling, though, so you never know what could happen...
