WWE is planning to make SummerSlam as big as WrestleMania, no great surprise when it's one of their biggest shows of the year (and will be taking place in front of fans).
It's no secret that John Cena vs. Universal Champion Roman Reigns is being planned for the show, with the Leader of the Cenation set to make his WWE return on the July 16 episode of SmackDown. However, that won't be the only main event match from the blue brand we see during the PPV.
Edge is also set to make his return next month and, as you can see below, WWE is looking to book the WWE Hall of Famer and Rated R Superstar in a match with Seth Rollins.
Rollins earned a win over Cesaro during Hell in a Cell on Sunday, and this match makes perfect sense. When Edge was unable to wrestle, Rollins threatened to Curb Stomp him during his feud with Cena. A babyface Edge returning to WWE for revenge could be a great storyline, and this would be a first-time-ever match for the company (which is definitely what they need).
