In the early hours of Sunday morning, Rich Swann was arrested for battery and kidnap/false imprisonment of an adult. Those are some pretty serious charges and so it probably won't surprise you to learn that WWE has been quick to take action against the RAW and 205 Live Superstar (who was set to face Drew Gulak for the chance to face Enzo Amore for the Cruiserweight Championship next week).
"WWE has zero tolerance for matters involving domestic violence," reads the statement, "and per our policy, Rich Swann has been suspended indefinitely following his arrest."
It's believed that Swann could face as many as five years in prison if he's found guilty and it's easy to imagine him being released from WWE in due course. In response to this news, the Gainesville Police Department has released the full police report and, as you can see, it appears as if this incident was the result of Swann's girlfriend making negative comments about his wrestling abilities!
