WWE has come to terms on the release of William Morrissey (Big Cass).

That's literally all the report says, but this has to be considered a pretty big shock after Cass had arguably the best match of his career against Daniel Bryan this past Sunday at Money in the Bank.

Was this always on the cards and WWE was just waiting 'till after the PPV to announce it, or did something happen afterwards that led to Morrissey's firing? Perhaps he asked to get out of his contract? Or, maybe it was this.

We'll update as soon as we know more, but in the meantime let us know what you think of this news in the comments.
