Due to the fact it's aired on Facebook Watch (before being added to the WWE Network at a later date), the Mixed Match Challenge flies under the radar with wrestling fans for the most part. Well, in what appears to be a bid to increase viewership, WWE has now announced a slight change to the tournament.

The male and female winners of the contest will receive the number 30 slot in the 2019 Royal Rumble matches, something which obviously gives them a huge advantage when it comes to securing a spot in the main event of WrestleMania. There's nothing to say that they'll win, of course, but it gives them a better chance than most and it will certainly be interesting seeing who is ultimately chosen to win.

WWE has also announced that the winners will receive an all-expense paid vacation to anywhere in the world and that's something we can presumably look forward to being used for some laughs.

Personally, I'm rooting Asuka and The Miz but be sure to let us know your predictions in the usual place.
