WWE is looking to make SummerSlam a huge show, and we've been hearing rumblings for a while that the company is lining up a major guest host.
Well, during last night's episode of SmackDown, WWE played a commercial for the PPV with Cardi B's "Up" playing in the background. She's essentially been confirmed as providing her Gramming winning song for the PPV, but is she going to end up being the guest host as well?
According to Andrew Zarian, who has delivered more hits than misses lately, the rapper will be hosting the show.
This isn't a surprise, especially after WWE President Nick Khan previously shared his desire to bring more big name musicians into the company in a bid to appeal to younger viewers (Bad Bunny was a hit during WrestleMania, and he even name-dropped Cardi B at the time). She won't be wrestling, however, though WWE might line something special up for her.
Cardi B was name-dropped on an episode of RAW earlier this year, and she's interacted with a number of different WWE Superstars on social media (including Vince McMahon).
When WWE finally announces the location for SummerSlam - which is expected to be Las Vegas - don't be surprised if Cardi B's hosting duties are also confirmed.
