It looks like WWE might have put the kibosh on plans to turn Bayley heel.

According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, The Huggable One was supposed to turn during her current storyline with Sasha Banks, but the company decided to go with The Boss instead. This appeared to be evident during the pair's backstage segment this past Monday on Raw when Banks attacked her former friend from behind.

Though a Bayley turn would certainly have been interesting to see, Banks does make a lot more sense as she's played heel before and done a very good job. This also gives Bayley the opportunity to finally show a more aggressive side to her personality while still holding on to her fan-favorite persona.

In theory, at least! Let's hope WWE doesn't drop the ball on this feud because it has the potential to be something very special.
