WWE Has Reportedly Purchased EVOLVE After Months Of Speculation

This has arguably be a long time coming, but it's now being reported that WWE has indeed purchased EVOLVE Wrestling, giving the company access to a lot of new material. Read on for further details...

If you're not WWE or All Elite Wrestling, then staying afloat in the wrestling industry is no easy feat (especially in the current climate). That was sadly the case for EVOLVE because despite it being used as a feeder system and occasional plugs from WWE on their website - not to mention an EVOLVE special that ran on the WWE Network last year - they folded due to low ticket and merchandise sales.

While there had been talk of EVOLVE shows airing on the WWE Network as part of a paid tier system, that never came to pass, and we've since heard that WWE might have purchased the company.

Well, according to both PWInsider and WrestlingNews.co, that has indeed come to pass. That now gives WWE access to a tape library which includes appearances from Mia Yim, AR Fox, Bobby Fish, Eddie Kingston, The Young Bucks, Sabu, Daniel Bryan, Austin Aries, Zack Sabre Jr. Ethan Page, Trent, Cedric Alexander, and a long list of others.

What we don't know is whether any EVOLVE talent will be offered deals with WWE, but that seems unlikely considering the fact the company recently released a large number of wrestlers to save money during the COVID-19 pandemic.

As always, we'll keep you guys updated.
