WWE Has Reportedly Reached Out To Jeff Hardy To Try And Get Him To Address His Health Issues

During a recent PW Insider audio show, host Mike Johnson was asked about Jeff Hardy's absence from the company. While he is dealing with a knee injury, the former tag team champion has faced a number of legal issues since being off the road, including a DUI arrest in October.

According to Johnson, "WWE strongly implored Jeff to address his health and we’re told that Jeff is doing that and really aggressively dove right into it." In other words, this is good news as Jeff is clearly working hard to get himself to a better place and it can't be easy for him given his ongoing battles with substance abuse issues.

WWE is understandably keen to keep both Matt and Jeff around given the emergence of All Elite Wrestling but whether they'll stay is another matter altogether. Matt is currently exploring his options as his contract nears its end, while Jeff will be staying for a little longer after his deal was frozen due to injury.

We'll be sure to keep you guys updated as we hear more.
