It's been revealed that WWE has hired the lead announcer from Tommy Dreamer's House of Hardcore promotion. Matt Camp made the announcement on Twitter and as well as working for HOH, he also spent some time with Sirius XM.

Vic Joseph previously worked for the hardcore promotion but was signed by WWE and is now reportedly being positioned as RAW's new lead announcer.

We don't have any official word about Camp's role within the company but based on what he's saying here, it looks like he'll be presenting segments on social media and WWE.com as well as possibly serving as a backstage interviewer (presumably while WWE trains him up to announce for them).

We'll keep you updated as we learn more.
