WWE, IMPACT, And Other Wrestling Companies Reportedly Have ZERO Interest In Signing Alberto Del Rio

While Alberto Del Rio will no longer face trial for a long list of allegations made against him, it appears pretty much none of the major pro wrestling companies are looking to work with him again anytime soon.

Alberto Del Rio has claimed on multiple occasions that WWE is interested in bringing him back, but that's something the company has actually denied just as many times. Back in October, friends of the former WWE Champion claimed Del Rio was telling them he planned to return to WWE once his legal situation was cleared up (he was accused of assaulting and kidnapping his ex-girlfriend)

Any and all charges have reportedly been dropped against Del Rio, but Sean Ross Sapp is now reporting that none of the major wrestling companies are looking to sign him to a deal.

"I've spoken with people from WWE, MLW, Impact who say they either have no interest in bringing Del Rio in or would be shocked if it happens," he explains. "AEW talent I've spoken to say they've never heard him mentioned as even possibly coming in."

There are other places he can go, of course, and Del Rio (who has been using the Albert El Patron name since leaving WWE) has competed for Mexican companies relatively recently. However, he hasn't wrestled for a major promotion since a run in IMPACT Wrestling wrapped up in 2018.

We'll keep you guys updated on this one.
