WWE Is Hoping To Bring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson To The Upcoming SMACKDOWN 1000

SmackDown Live was named after one of The Rock's famous catchphrases and he was a staple of the show for years so it's no great surprise that WWE is now attempting to get him to appear on the show. The Great One hasn't been seen in WWE for quite some time and even missed RAW 25 but Dave Meltzer reveals that the company is putting a lot of time and effort into bringing him back.

The only potential problem here is the fact that SmackDown 1000 will take place in Washington DC, while Dwayne Johnson is currently busy in London shooting Hobbs & Shaw with Jason Statham.

Right now, the arena is advertising The Undertaker, Michelle McCool, Torrie Wilson, Vickie Guerrero, Teddy Long, and more to appear, while the main event is rumoured to be Daniel Bryan and WWE Champion AJ Styles against The Miz and Samoa Joe. Are you guys excited to potentially see The Rock return for this anniversary show? As always, share your thoughts down in the comments.
