WWE Is Making Big Changes To Both The Men's And Women's ROYAL RUMBLE Matches In 2020

It sounds like WWE is already making plans for the two Royal Rumble matches which will take place in Houston, Texas next month at the Royal Rumble PPV. According to Bryan Alvarez on the latest Wrestling Observer Live, the idea is that both the men's and women's matches will feature Superstars from all three brands.

That means 10 RAW Superstars, 10 SmackDown Superstars, and 10 NXT Superstars.

That's a big contrast to last year which featured just six NXT Superstars in the 30-woman match and three in the men's. That means the main event of WrestleMania could be for the NXT Championship and it likely means that the title will be defended during the Show of Shows either way.

NXT made one heck of an impact during Survivor Series so this really isn't all that surprising and it's no secret that WWE is planning to treat that show as being equal to RAW and SmackDown now.
