It sounds like a big change is going to be made to former SmackDown Tag Team Champions The New Day. We recently learned that Xavier Woods will be out of action for several months - and possibly up to a year - so the plan is for Kofi Kingston and Big E to undergo something of a change.

Following their loss to Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode on Friday and the fact Kingston lost the WWE Championship to Brock Lesnar in a matter of seconds, it's now said that there are plans to address that and while some people within WWE have suggested breaking up Kingston and Big E, Vince McMahon is keen to turn them heel.

This is something WWE mulled over back in 2016 but strong merchandise sales meant the company changed their minds. The New Day gimmick has grown stale in recent months and hitting the refresh button on these two wouldn't be the worst idea in the world.

We'll keep you guys updated but based on how often Vince changes his mind, don't be shocked if this doesn't happen.
