WWE Is Reportedly Hoping That Ronda Rousey Will Become A TOTAL DIVAS Cast Member

Believe it or not, WWE and the E! Network is reportedly hoping to convince RAW Women's Champion Ronda Rousey to become a regular cast member in Total Divas in a bid to improve the show's ratings...

Total Divas ratings have plummeted in recent years and while the show still performs fairly well for the E! Network it appears as if they and WWE are now looking for ways to improve viewership. According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestler Observer Newsletter, there's talk within the company of approaching Ronda Rousey in a bid to make her a regular cast member moving forward.

As of right now, Rousey hasn't been approached but this would obviously be a game changer for the reality TV series, especially as she has such a large, mainstream following thanks to her UFC stint.

Whether or not she'll be interested is hard to say but WWE has managed to convince a number of unexpected names to say yes to starring in Total Divas over the years, including Renee Young (who is married to the notoriously private Dean Ambrose). We'll be sure to keep you updated but given Rousey's comments on RAW this past week, her joining the show may not sit particularly well with fans.
