WWE is reportedly interested in Ring of Honor and CMLL star Rush.

The company has had interest in the former CMLL World Light Heavyweight Champion for a while now; however, Rush is good friends with Smackdown Live star Andrade, and the former NXT Champion has expressed his unhappiness to fellow wrestlers in the past, reportedly stating that the WWE “isn’t all that cracked up to be”.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Andrade is happier now and the company’s interest in his former Los Ingobernables ally has seemingly peaked:

” There’s been a lot of talk regarding Rush when his contract expires here at the end of the year. The two key points are that Andrade, who was not happy in NXT and WWE for a long time when not being used, is happy now, has a good relationship with Charlotte Flair, is getting a push and making money. So the attitude of being negative to his good friend about coming has changed. WWE has obviously wanted Rush for some time, but the second issue is he’s still under contract to CMLL until early 2021″

Rush is currently under contract with ROH until the end of the year, however he remains under contract with CMLL until 2021.
