Earlier this year, WWE started teasing the split of Fire & Desire, a.k.a. Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville. Those plans were quickly scrapped and some fans noticed not too long ago that it looked like the company was instead considering a romance angle between the tag team partners.

Well, in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer confirmed that WWE is definitely dropping some subtle teases with the idea being that Deville, who is openly gay in real-life, is attracted to Rose.

This is more than likely a storyline that Vince McMahon considers to be "edgy" but the company will have to be very careful here because an LGBT storyline it's easy to imagine WWE dropping the ball on. On the plus side, it could lead to more diversity on WWE programming and it's about time.

What do you guys think?
