WWE Is Reportedly Planning An "I Quit" Match For The Culmination Of Edge & Randy Orton's Feud

Once Edge is healed up and ready to go, it sounds like WWE is planning an "I Quit" match as the culmination of the Hall of Famer's recent feud with Randy Orton. Could we see it at happen before WrestleMania?

It'll probably be another while before Edge is cleared to wrestle again, but once he is, it sounds like WWE is planning an "I Quit" match to close out what will be a trilogy of singles bouts with Randy Orton.

Edge was victorious when the two clashed in a Last Man Standing match at WrestleMania 36, and The Viper won the "Greatest Wrestling Match Ever" at Backlash. The Rated R Superstar tore his triceps during that bout, and has been on the shelf ever since. However, he cut a promo the night after on Raw making it very clear that he intended to return and make Orton pay for punt kicking Christian.

According to Dave Meltzer, the I Quit match was originally scheduled for SummerSlam, but that's obviously not going to happen now. In fact, he reckons we won't see it until WrestleMania 37. Edge will more than likely be ready to go before then, but it makes sense that WWE would want to hold off on a match of this magnitude until the Showcase of the Immortals.

Plus, there's a chance we might actually have some fans in the arena by then!

This has been a great feud so we're happy to wait - although they really should have had the non-gimmick match last, right? Anyway, let us know what you think about the prospect of an I Quit match between Edge and Orton in the comments.
