According to multiple outlets, WWE is looking to schedule this year's Draft at the end of August, setting the stage for a very different Fall for the sports entertainment giant.
Apparently, things will kick off on the Monday, August 30 edition of RAW, with the conclusion taking place on SmackDown on Friday, September 3. The dates are tentative at this point, but it would make sense to shake things up a little, especially with fans set to return to these shows in person early next month.
The last two WWE Drafts took place in mid-October, a baffling decision when Superstars then start appearing on both shows heading into Survivor Series.
Last year's rules saw RAW get three picks for SmackDown's two each round, with the USA and FOX networks credited for making the decisions alongside unnamed "WWE officials."
It will certainly be interesting seeing who ends up where, especially with Roman Reigns the current face of SmackDown and Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre very much a focal point of RAW. Given how disappointing the Monday night show is, we find it hard to imagine that there are many Superstars on the blu brand excited to make the leap to that.
As always, keep checking back here for updates!
