WWE Is Reportedly Preparing To Announce WRESTLEMANIA's Return To New Jersey's MetLife Stadium In 2019

We've heard rumours that next year's WrestleMania might take place in New Jersey and a new report claims that the news will be made official literally any day now. Hit the jump for what we know so far!

This year's WrestleMania will emanate from New Orleans but what about 2019's Showcase of the Immortals? Well, we've heard rumblings for a while now that WrestleMania 35 could take place in New Jersey's MetLife Stadium and a new report claims that is indeed the plan. In fact, an official announcement is expected to be made within a matter of days so start planning your trip now! 

WWE reportedly wants to avoid any confusion by making the news official before the end of February because WrestleMania 34 is obviously on the horizon and the company won't be anywhere near the Big Apple again until Backlash in May and that's going to be very late for such a big announcement.

Nothing is confirmed and when The Wrap reached out to WWE for comment, they had nothing to say (MetLife Stadium, meanwhile, just redirected them back to WWE). Given how much success the company had in this venue a few years ago, it makes sense for them to return there but there are a lot of cities that haven't held a WrestleMania which would like the chance to do so.

We'll have to wait and see but those rumours of a UK-based WrestleMania were clearly just that...
