WWE Is Reportedly Set To Announce Women's Tag Team Championships Ahead Of EVOLUTION

There have been rumblings for a while now that WWE is planning on launching a tag team division for the women and it's now been revealed that the announcement is imminent ahead of the Evolution PPV...

WWE has been pairing up a lot of women in recent months on both RAW and SmackDown Live; there's the IIconics, Naomi and Asuka, and Bayley and Sasha Banks to name just a few. Now, it appears as if the company is finally getting serious about a tag team division which will include titles because a new report claims that the first Women's Tag Team Champions will be crowned at Evolution

How will it work? Apparently, women from all brands - including NXT - will be included. A tournament will reportedly be held on WWE programming and the victors will presumably have to defend the championship everywhere and anywhere which should pose an interesting challenge to WWE and how these titles are ultimately used. However, there's no denying that this is the right move.

How do you guys feel about the launch of Women's Tag Team Championships? As always, share your thoughts in the comments section below and stay tuned for additional updates on these plans.
