WWE Is Reportedly Trying To Buy FITE TV...The Home Of ALL ELITE WRESTLING's PPVs

WWE is clearly upping the ante in the wrestling war with All Elite Wrestling because a new report claims that the company is looking to but FITE TV, the home of All Elite Wrestling's PPV among others...

According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is in talks to purchase the FITE TV steaming platform. They currently stream live events from pro wrestling, MMA, boxing, and kickboxing. In terms of wrestling partners, they work with the likes of All Elite Wrestling, NJPW, Ring of Honor, IMPACT Wrestling, and a long list of well-known indie companies.

There's no word on how far along WWE and FITE are with these talks but it's hard to imagine the company would drop all those wrestling promotions as that would lead to a huge financial loss.

However, it's hard to believe they would want to work with All Elite Wrestling and cutting them off from FITE would rob them of their main streaming partner. It's hard to say whether this will happen or what could happen moving forward but why would WWE want a streaming partner? It's possible they'll use it as another source of revenue by selling their own PPVs on there, of course.

We'll keep you guys updated when and if we hear more.
