WWE Is Reportedly Very Close To Signing RING OF HONOR Star "The Party Peacock" Dalton Castle
There have been whispers that WWE has been interested in signing a crop of ROH talent for a while now, and the latest name on the list is none other than the flamboyant Party Peacock himself..
Rumors have been flying of late that WWE is interested in signing several big Ring of Honor stars whose contracts have recently expired, including the likes of Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, Donovan Dijak, Lio Rush, Bobby Fish, and Raymond Rowe.
Now, while any one of those guys would be a great addition to the roster, the latest name has definitely caused the most buzz. According to Dave Meltzer, WWE brass has “great interest” in bringing in Dalton Castle.
If you're unfamiliar with ROH's resident Party Peacock, Castle is a flamboyant, charismatic, incredibly skilled wrestler with a gimmick many feel would be a perfect fit for WWE. Personally, I think he'd have to tone down some elements of his character (I'm not sure he'd be allowed to bring his Boys with him, for example) but overall I believe there's a lot of potential there.
We'll keep you updated on this, but in the meantime you can see Castle in action below:
