WWE Is Reportedly Very Happy With Paige's New Role As SMACKDOWN LIVE General Manager

When Paige announced her retirement, the vast majority of fans assumed that her run with WWE was at an end. However, the company surprised us during the Superstar Shakeup by revealing that she would serve as the new SmackDown Live General Manager now that Daniel Bryan has un-retired.

The question is, is WWE happy with the job she's been doing? Fans have responded well to her new role but you know what Vince McMahon is like and she could lose that role at any time depending on his mood. According to PWInsider's Mike Johnson, the company is actually very pleased with Paige!

"They’re extremely happy with Paige as the GM. Extremely Happy," he says. "They definitely want to showcase her more especially since the movie about her life is going to come out towards WrestleMania season next year. So you can expect that she’s going to get a lot more facetime leading into that to help promote that film." So, expect her to remain on as the GM!
