WWE Issues Storyline Update On Matt Hardy As He Comments On His Possible "WWE Goodbye"

Earlier today, we told you about Vince McMahon pulling the plug on the planned "No Holds Barred" match between Matt Hardy and Randy Orton, but we now have a storyline update on the former's condition...

WWE has issued a storyline update on Matt Hardy in which it's noted that he was discharged from a "local medical facility" in Everett, WA, following that brutal attack from Randy Orton on RAW. It's said that he's now home recovering, and it's widely believed this was meant to write him off WWE television for good.

In related news, Hardy has sent out another Tweet, this time teasing an AEW debut (look closely at "Against Every Warning"), and commenting on his possible "WWE goodbye".

As all expected that to be last week, of course, and with his contract not expected to end until March 1st, it's still possible WWE could do something with Hardy on Monday's RAW ahead of Super ShowDown. Clearly, the company wants to bury him on his way out!

Check out Hardy's Tweet below and stay tuned for updates as we have them.
