WWE announced over the weekend that they have decided to make some changes to WrestleMania weekend by hosting NXT TakeOver on Friday and the Hall of Fame ceremony on Saturday. The company previously changed the schedule because it was easier to put the stage together for NXT on the Saturday and then keep it there ready for RAW and SmackDown Live a few days later.

No specific reason has been given beyond the one you can see below but this has probably been done to move NXT away from some high profile independent wrestling shows which would have potentially taken a lot of the spotlight away from WWE's developmental brand. This also means that wrestling fans are able to attend their choice of those and the NXT TakeOver show on Friday.
