Cody Rhodes, still wearing a cast on the hand broken by Brock Lesnar, was a guest on "Miz TV" during last night's RAW and wasted no time in pointing out that The Beast is back home instead of answering his challenge for a rematch.
That presumably means Lesnar won't be part of Money in the Bank, though that's not overly surprising following reports that the rubber match between him and Rhodes has been slotted in for SummerSlam.
However, WWE's surprising plans for Rhodes at next month's PLE may have been revealed on RAW.
The Miz brought out Dominik Mysterio and The Judgement Day member immediately took aim at the American Nightmare. Calling him a deadbeat father just like Rey Mysterio, things got increasingly heated between the two, culminating in Rhodes calling "Dom Dom" Rey's biggest mistake.
The younger Mysterio was able to slap Rhodes across the face before taking refuge behind SmackDown Women's Champion Rhea Ripley, prompting an incensed Cody to knock The Miz out.
It appears that, instead of having Rhodes compete for one of the Money in the Bank briefcases, he'll square off against Dominik in a singles match which will see the two second-generation Superstars go to war in front of a hot British crowd.
Considering the fact Dom could barely be heard over the boos last night, this may well prove to be one of the most entertaining bouts on the Money in the Bank card if it does indeed shape over the coming weeks.
